We are reading through these this month. Each book has an introduction, which is a short biography of the poet, selected poems follow, some with explanations of the poem or words defined.
Here are two of our favourites:

Scholastic did a great job with that series. I had them when I was teaching and I bought them for a number of people as presents. I loved the way they made poetry more accesible for younger readers.
