Book Sharing Monday

This week I am sharing a really fun and colourful book, part poetry, part riddles, and all about science! It is called Scien-trickery: riddles in science written by J.Patrick Lewis and illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz. You can click on the photo to read the poem/riddle "Go, Moon, Glow!" and here is another cute short one called "The Old Switcheroo":

"My father's the arc,
My mother's the spark.
Without them you would
Be left in the dark."

Can you guess the answer? It's electricity!
