Get Outdoors Challenge :: April 10

We went for a walk to a local conservation area in the afternoon. We were the only ones there! We saw a couple of Midland Painted Turtles and a few birds. I wasn't able to take any photos of the birds unfortunately.
In the photo above, look how the wind has bent the trees!

A few days ago, I finished reading aloud The Adventures of Robin Hood (by Roger Lancelyn Green).  Andre and Celeste were looking for sticks that would make a good bow during most of our walk.

  1. Oh how cool are those trees? Looks like a great day!

  2. Love the photos! Looks like a you had a beautiful day :)

We love spotting turtles when we're out too. Such peaceful little guys.

We're doing the Outdoor Challenge too. It's fun to check out what others are doing.

  3. It's great how you guys are having so much fun outside lately. I can't wait for park days. We have so much fun at those! Maybe we'll see you guys at them.

I ♥ comments! Thank you for stopping by.
