This week I would like to share a book for us parents, because I am about half way through this wonderful book: "Last Child in the Woods: Saving our Children from Nature Deficit Disorder" by Richard Louv. Many of the points brought up I was aware and completely agree that nature should be an important part of our children and our lives.
I would highly recommend this book to all parents. If you can find a copy at your library, check it out!

Sounds like a wonderful book. My daughter loves the great outdoors and I love sharing it with her. Great book to add to my collection of reading.. Thanks for the information!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this. This is a ook I have often almost added to my basket, but held back because I thought I would not find anything new in it. I just might go for it next time! The links to the author's site was very useful. Thanks.
