Book Sharing Monday

This week I would like to share a book for us parents, because I am about half way through this wonderful book: "Last Child in the Woods: Saving our Children from Nature Deficit Disorder" by Richard Louv. Many of the points brought up I was aware and completely agree that nature should be an important part of our children and our lives.
I would highly recommend this book to all parents. If you can find a copy at your library, check it out!

You can click on the image of the book above to be linked to the author's website. Check out the resource guide for extra reading lists and suggested activities for parents and children.

  1. Sounds like a wonderful book. My daughter loves the great outdoors and I love sharing it with her. Great book to add to my collection of reading.. Thanks for the information!

  2. Thanks for sharing this. This is a ook I have often almost added to my basket, but held back because I thought I would not find anything new in it. I just might go for it next time! The links to the author's site was very useful. Thanks.

  3. I have this on my wishlist, would love to read it :)

  4. This sounds great. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I love this book... read it just last March and found it great for kicking me into gear and getting the kids outside.

  6. I read this just a few months before I made the decision to homeschool. Completely confirmed my decision! Great read! :D

  7. I'm reading this one too! It's a great book!

I ♥ comments! Thank you for stopping by.
