Photo of the Day ~ December 6

We are out all day on Saturdays, because Fairy has a Tumbling & Trampoline class and since we only have one car, that means we are out for the day. We drive Dad to work in the morning and pick him up in the evening. We usually plan something to do on that day, even if it is just grocery shopping! Anyway, all that to say that I forgot to bring my camera along, and only took my picture of the day now. The Christmas tree is right behind my computer desk, so I thought I would share one of my favourite ornaments on it. It shows a picture of Fairy taken close to her first Christmas, in 1997. A wonderful memory of Christmas past!

I also wanted to share another one of Fairy's cat...taken last night. She went in the bath again, with Dragon. She just jumped right in! Really hard to take a picture of a wet cat though, she wouldn't stay still!

Dragon stayed home today, he spent most of the night coughing and had a fever this morning...It was just the two of us at home today and we spent most of the day playing board games. Blokus, Dragonology, and Monopoly! We ended end playing Monopoly for three hours!

Photo of the Day ~ December 4

The life of a cat...watching the water drip after I finished my shower. Every day is the same thing, she sits on the edge of the tub, while I am in the shower, watching through our shower curtain, and as soon as I step out, she jumps in and sits there, in the tub. She also has been known to jump in a full tub of water, when the kids are taking their bath...on purpose!
She makes me smile and that is always a great start way to start the day, isn't it?

I made some homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade stock, yummy...and it came in handy today for my little boy that stayed home from school. He has a cold. I can't wait for everyone to be better soon. First was Princess, then me, now Dragon. Fairy also has a runny nose. Hopefully everyone will be better for Christmas break!
